Flying Gecko Productions was started in 2003 by Greg Sommers. Based out of Seattle, WA, this award-winning production company works hard to make the best quality productions. We are not focused solely on fiction filmmaking, on the contrary, we find inspriation in all projects that we encounter. We feel the same artistic techniques used in fiction works can be, and should be, applied to every project.

Director/Producer Greg Sommers-Herivel – Flying Gecko founder, Greg Sommers-Herivel, comes from the world of research science in neurophysiology and developmental biology. He received his BS in Neurobiology from the University of Washington, and has spent the last several years working on the bioinformatics initiative; “Zebrafish: The DVD Exchange Project.” Producing this project in addition to his love of film, has brought him into the world of science fiction filmmaking. His early works, ‘Your Birthday Too’ and ‘Chains’ are based on his friend and colleague Tolga Bilgen’s short stories. Greg and his wife currently reside in Seattle.
